Rivergold Eco-Packaging Solutions makes reusable coffee-waste tableware, compostable bagasse disposables, and biodegradable waste bags — for kitchens that don't want their packaging to outlive the meal.
Rivergold Eco-Packaging Solutions started with one simple vision: invent, produce, and procure materials with zero harm to nature — to make this world a better place to live.
Sustainable packaging is spreading like wildfire across the globe, creating new possibility and opportunity at every turn. It's time for our generation to think plastic-free, and build a world worth living in.
Reusable pieces are pressed from spent coffee grounds. Disposables are molded from bagasse or heat-pressed directly from fallen leaves. Carry bags are formed from cornstarch-based bioplastic film. None of it started life as plastic resin.

The biodegradable waste bags are meant for segregated collection ahead of authorized disposal (autoclaving/incineration for regulated categories) — they're a collection and handling solution, not a substitute for proper waste treatment infrastructure.
My journey into packaging was an unlikely one — I had nothing to do with packaging, not through my academics, and no network that pushed me toward it. It started with a trip to Mumbai for special sea training with the NCC Navy. Entering Mumbai was an overwhelming experience, and as we travelled deeper into the city, I found trash everywhere — on every street, in every corner.
During our training, we spent one day cleaning the coastline. What I saw on that shore baffled me. It genuinely broke something in me, and by the time I got back to Bengaluru, it still hadn't left my mind. That day set off a slow but permanent shift in how I thought — my mindset started turning toward eliminating plastic altogether. That shift eventually became Rivergold Eco-Packaging Solutions, founded in 2025.
Tell us which line you need — reusable tableware, compostable disposables, or waste bags — and roughly how many pieces. We'll put together a matched sample kit, usually out within a week.
